Early Education and Care Professional Learning Network Update
This year has marked a milestone for the ELM team, with the organisation successfully awarded both the tender for the ECEC Professional Learning Network and the Women’s Return to Work program.
Alongside these landmark wins, the team has continued to provide tailored support to individuals and organisations through coaching, HR guidance, cultural development, and bespoke training solutions—strengthening capacity and fostering growth across the sector.
The team has also sustained its commitment to free leadership webinars, which remain highly popular, attracting participants from across Australia and spanning the private, government, and not‑for‑profit sectors

The next calendar of events will be released in early 2026.
It will feature learning circles focused on unpacking the indicators and implications of neurodevelopmental conditions and neurodiversity in early childhood. We’ll also explore the theme of speaking up, supporting educators to find their voice and advocate for themselves and the children they work with.
And, by popular demand, our Building Connections events will return—creating dedicated spaces for ECEC sector members to come together, strengthen relationships, and connect with others across the sector.

Exciting News
ELM is proud to announce our appointment as the ACT Government Office for Women’s provider of the Return-to-Work workshop series.
This important initiative supports women and gender diverse people in the ACT who face additional barriers to employment and training. Through tailored workshops and targeted support, the program empowers participants to build confidence, strengthen their skills, and pursue meaningful employment—ultimately enhancing their financial independence and long-term well-being.

We define supervision as:
“Professional Supervision is a working alliance between a supervisor and a worker in which the worker can offer an account or recoding of their work, reflect on it, receive feedback and where appropriate, guidance. The object of this alliance is to enable the worker to gain in ethical competence, confidence & creativity, so as to give the best possible service to their clients”. Inskipp & Proctor (1993) Making the most of Professional Supervision
We offer a meet-and-greet and fit session at no cost as it is essential for the supervisees to feel they can connect and build a working alliance with the coach for the coaching sessions to be successful.
